Important Notice to Contributors: Florida law requires us to publicly report your personal information when you make a political contribution at or above applicable thresholds. This disclosure is required by law and cannot be waived.
As a Florida-registered PAC, we are required by Florida Statutes Chapter 106 to publicly report contributor information to the Florida Division of Elections. Depending on the amount of your contribution, your name, mailing address, occupation, employer, and contribution amount will appear in public records available on the Florida Division of Elections website (dos.fl.gov).
This mandatory public disclosure is governed by Florida law and not by this Privacy Policy. It cannot be overridden by a privacy or deletion request. By making a contribution, you acknowledge and consent to this required disclosure.
Similarly, campaign finance law requires us to retain contribution records for a minimum period established by Florida law. These records may not be deleted upon request if they are subject to mandatory retention requirements.

6. Your Choices and Rights
6.1 Email Communications
You may opt out of email communications from us at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link in any email or contacting us at [contact@pennyforprogress2026com]. Note that even after opting out, we may still contact you regarding your contribution history or legally required disclosures.
6.2 Access and Correction
You may request access to or correction of your personal information by contacting us. We will respond within a reasonable timeframe. Note that we cannot alter or delete information that has been reported to the Florida Division of Elections or that is otherwise subject to mandatory retention under campaign finance law.
6.3 Cookie Opt-Out
You may opt out of Google Analytics data collection by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on (available at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout) or by adjusting your browser's cookie settings. You may also use a cookie consent preference if one is displayed on our Site.
6.4 Do Not Track
Some browsers transmit "Do Not Track" signals. Our Site does not currently respond to Do Not Track signals, as there is no universally accepted standard for this feature. You may use the opt-out mechanisms described in Section 6.3 to limit analytics tracking.
7. Google Analytics and Third-Party Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 (GA4), a web analytics service provided by Google LLC. Google Analytics collects information about your use of our Site and transmits it to Google’s servers. We do not control Google’s data practices.
7.1 What Google Analytics Collects
Google Analytics 4 may collect the following information about your visit:
Pages viewed and time spent on each page
Traffic source (how you arrived at our Site)
General geographic location (country/region — not precise location)
Device type, browser, and operating system
User interactions such as clicks and scroll depth
Google Analytics 4 anonymizes IP addresses by default. We do not use GA4 features that enable cross-site tracking, remarketing, or demographic profiling unless separately disclosed.
7.2 How Google Uses This Data
Google may use the data collected through Google Analytics in accordance with its own privacy policy, available at policies.google.com/privacy. We encourage you to review Google's policy to understand how Google handles the data it collects through Analytics.
7.3 Opting Out of Google Analytics
You have several options to opt out of Google Analytics tracking:
Browser Add-on: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
Browser Cookie Settings: Delete or block cookies named ga, gid, and ga[ID] in your browser's cookie manager
Private/Incognito Mode: Using a private browsing window prevents persistent GA cookies from being set
Opting out of Google Analytics will not affect your ability to use our Site or make contributions.
7.4 Advertising and Remarketing Features
We use certain advertising features within Google Analytics 4, including Google Signals and remarketing capabilities. These features allow us to better understand our audience and deliver relevant political messaging to individuals who have previously visited our Site.
Specifically, we may use these features to:
Remarket to prior visitors — serving ads through the Google Display Network or other Google-affiliated platforms to individuals who have previously visited our Site
Enable Google Signals — which associates your Site visit data with your Google account (if you are signed in to Google and have Ad Personalization enabled), allowing for cross-device reporting and audience building
Build audience segments — grouping visitors based on pages visited or actions taken on our Site (such as visiting our contribution page) for the purpose of targeted political outreach
Measure ad performance — tracking whether a visitor who saw one of our ads subsequently visited the Site or took a specific action
These features involve the collection and use of data for interest-based advertising purposes. Google may combine data collected on our Site with data from other sites and services to serve ads and build audience profiles. This processing is subject to Google's own privacy policy (policies.google.com/privacy) and Google's EU User Consent Policy where applicable.
Your choices: You can opt out of interest-based advertising by visiting Google's Ad Settings at adssettings.google.com, by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, or by adjusting your device's ad personalization settings. You may also limit this tracking by rejecting non-essential cookies via the cookie preference controls on our Site.
8. Data Security
We implement reasonable technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, use, or disclosure. Political contributions are processed through a third-party payment processor that maintains PCI-DSS compliance. However, no method of data transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Third-Party Websites and Social Media
Our Site may contain links to third-party websites, including news outlets, social media platforms, or other political organizations. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to review their privacy policies separately.
Our Site may incorporate social media features such as share buttons or embedded content from platforms including Facebook, X (formerly Twitter), Instagram, and YouTube. These features may independently collect your IP address and set cookies. Your interactions with these features are governed by the privacy policies of the respective platforms.
10. Children's Privacy
Our Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected such information, we will promptly delete it.
11. Florida-Specific Disclosures
Florida residents may have rights under applicable state privacy law. However, personal information collected in connection with political activities and contributions is subject to Florida campaign finance law (Chapter 106), which governs the collection, use, retention, and disclosure of such information and may supersede certain general privacy protections. For questions specific to your rights, contact us directly.
12. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes described in this Privacy Policy, comply with legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. Contribution records are subject to mandatory retention requirements under Florida campaign finance law and may be retained indefinitely or for such period as required by law. We are unable to honor deletion requests for information subject to these mandatory retention obligations.
13. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will post the revised policy on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of the Site following any changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this page periodically.
